Mark Hartman became the fourth honoree of the WSCA Service Award. Awarded for the 2021 Curling Season, he was presented the award at Spring WSCA Meeting at Tri-City on 5/13/2023. Mark began curling in the Medford Curling Club in the late 1970's and served as WSCA Director for the Medford Club for many years. Over the years Mark has served the organization in several different capacities, including Junior Chair, Senior Curling Chair, and was the Association President from 1992-1994. He has managed the WSCA website since 2008. Now living in McFarland, he is a member of he Poynette and Madison Curling Clubs.
Superior Curling Club's foursome of Jeff Erickson, Irv Mossberger Jr., Brian Bergquist, and Chris Bode emerged from a three-way tie-break to win the 2012 Wisconsin Men's Curling Club Championship. Erickson defeated Madison's Ken Neidhart rink in the final game with a steal of one in the 10th end. The Erickson rink will represent Wisconsin at the National Club Championship, March 3-10 in Mankato, Minnesota.
After the round robin competition in the 2011/12 Wisconsin Club Championship at the Centerville Curling Club, three teams were tied for the top position with rcords of 5-2. The teams are vying for a berth to the National Club Championship in Mankato, March 3-10.
In the first tie-breaker at 1:30 PM Sunday, Ken Neidhart defeated Dave Brown. Neidhart is now facing Jeff Erickson in the championship final at 6 PM.

Please be aware that the Wisconsin Club Championship will be held December 15-18, 2011, at Centerville Curling Club. This is a full month earlier than last year. Accordingly, the team registration deadline is November 30, 2011.
