David Brown Rink Mines Bronze at Pacific International Cup

The Wisconsin team of David Brown (skip), Leon Romaniuk (third), Dan Brown (second) and Richard Maskel (lead) defeated the Dave Plant team from Quesnel, British Columbia by a score of 6-4 in the Bronze Medal final to finish in 3rd Place in the Men's Division at the 10th annual Pacific International Cup in Richmond, B.C. on Sunday.  The Brown team posted a 7-2 win/loss record during the five day, 20 team tournament that featured teams from Canada, Australia, and the United States.  Read on for more about the event.

The Pacific International Cup is an invitational event for club champion-caliber rinks.  Various state and provincial associations are invited to send representatives to the championship.  The Wisconsin State Curling Association extends the invitation to its previous year's club champions.
