Ryan Spielman with his rink of Blackhawk curlers won the Wisconsin Men's Championship on Dec. 13 at the Portage Curling Club. Ryan and his teammates, Jason Pickett, Calvin Merath and Tony Jacobson put together a record of 6-1 during the 8 team round robin. Second place went to the Superior team skipped by irvin Mossberger with a 5-2 record.
THe Blackhawk team will now represent Wisconsin in the Club National Championship starting Mar. 7, 2015 at Fargo Curling Club, ND. This is the second time within the last three years that a Blackhawk team has won the state men's championship. Good Luck at Nationals!
