The Wisconsin Junior Championships are being held in Wausau from Dec. 26-29 along with the Wisconsin State U18 Nationals Qualifier. For those that have not registered for the U-18's here is a link for registration to play for the Wisconsin U21 Jr. Championships (aka The Bucky):
The Milwaukee Curling Club, located in Cedarburg, is hosting the USCA Member's Assembly this coming weekend. The Member's Assembly is an excellent forum for obtaining and sharing information from Curling Clubs across the entire nation. All clubs are encouraged to send a member to this informative event. The website calendar has been updated now for the upcoming 2019-20 curling season. Count them - 147 events! From Steaks on the Fireplace Grill at Medford (a Wisconsin bonspiel tradition to not be missed) to the Senior World Championships in Kelowna, British Columbia, every event of interest to Wisconsin curlers - that we know about - has been included in the calendar. Driving off the energy from last year’s Eau Claire Curling Club season, some enthusiasts from Chippewa Falls are creating an opportunity for area curlers to brush up during the off-season. Working with the area hockey rink (CYHA), it was decided to put the ice on two months early this year.
Starting August 21, Chippewa Falls will be hosting a 10 week league. Also, the Chippewa Club is working hard to put together their first annual Oktoberfest Bonspiel.
